Virtue

Hello Sisters-

As you may or may not know, the First Presidency of the Church has recently added the value Virtue to the Young Women Personal Progress Program. We are so excited to have the value of "Virtue" value added to our theme and to be able to work on goals that teach the meaning of virtue to our Young Women. Because this is such an important value, the leaders of the church have invited EVERY WOMAN, not just the Young Women and their mothers, to participate in the Virtue Value Project that the YW normally complete as part of earning their Young Womanhood Recognition award. The Project the young women have been asked to do is to read the entire Book of Mormon and record their thoughts in a journal as they read. The young women have just started an incentive program to help motivate the young women and help the young women take a more personal role in their personal progress. We know that we will be blessed as we follow the counsel of our prophet and other church leaders, and are excited to share this experience as sisters!
